Eastern Ottawa Resource Centre – One Million Ten Million Project Recipient

Episode 14: Eastern Ottawa Resource Centre, One Million Ten Million Project Recipient

Nathalie Lafreniere is the Executive Director of the Eastern Ottawa Resource Centre, a wonderful organization that is focused on providing a range of supportive community services that empowers people in their community to live healthy, happy lives.

Started in 1979 by a grassroots group of people who wanted to give back to their community, the EORC offers counselling services for children and youth, individual and group counselling for women who are fleeing abuse, and support programs for seniors to enable them to live at home, amongst some of their programs.

The Eastern Ottawa resource Centre also works in partnership with other community organizations such as The Parkinson’s Society, Sandy Hill Community Health Centre and CHEO through their Speech and Language program for children.

Thank you to Janet Gray who chose the Ottawa Resource Centre as her recipient in the One Million Ten Million Project. Because of her support and decision, we can all continue to support the Eastern Ottawa Resource Centre and the incredible impact they are having in their community.
