Which Would You Rather?
So, which would you rather? Be on a beach or go to the spa? Or, would you rather put something out there that is now 100% done or wait until it’s fully finished before letting it go to others?
These were two of the questions that I asked in the first week of “Which Would You Rather?”.
I was inspired last Sunday, after a transformational weekend at “One Last Talk”, facilitated by Philip McKernan, to do something different; to step out of my comfy comfort zone and explore doing something I’ve never done.
As I shared some of the weekend highlights with my husband, we started talking about choices and what we would rather do, have or be, in our lives. As the conversation unfolded, I imagined asking others about what they would rather be, do or have in their lives too, one, out of curiosity, and two, from a professional standpoint, to know what they prioritized in their lives. The more I thought of it, the more I thought of doing a daily inquisitive video to invite you, and others to share which would you rather.
I’m learning a lot by doing this daily vlog. I’m learning about what my priorities are and what matters most to me. And I’m also learning about what others feel is most important to them.
From a technical standpoint, I’m becoming even more comfortable in front of the camera and putting myself out there in this way.
I’ve been doing video for a long time, and I’m still uncomfortable doing it too. This experience is broadening my skills and my desire to do more with video. It’s been a fun learning experience and I’m loving the engagement it’s bringing too.
So, having said all of that, I’d love to ask you which would you rather and invite you to think about this past week’s Which Would You Rather? questions of the day.
Please comment below and feel free to share if you would like to invite others to answer the questions too.
REMEMBER – there are 2 rules:
- You cannot choose “it depends” or “both”. Please get clear about which would you rather and go with that answer.
- Be kind and respectful of each other’s answers too. We all have our own life stories and experiences so what we feel is what we would choose is quite ok. Keep this a safe place to share and have fun too.
AND I would LOVE your ideas “Which would you rather?” questions!! Please share your suggestions for questions and I’ll be happy to give you credit for it too. Post in the comments below or reach out to me on my social media channels (which you will find at the top of the page) to share your suggestions.
I’m looking forward to hearing what you say, every day, for the next 100 episodes (that’s the commitment I made) as we explore a fun way of looking at our priorities and what matters most.
