Ah – the sounds of nature, quiet, and a place to simply relax. Doesn’t that sound divine?
As a busy professional woman, you work so hard to take care of everything and everyone else. You work tirelessly to fulfill your obligations. You work long hours to meet deadlines, achieve your goals and ensure you are performing at your best.
On top of all of that, you are caring for loved ones and all of your other obligations. Kids, house, family….the list goes on.
How often do you fit in self-care, R&R, a personal time-out to relax, turn off electronics, and enjoy “being” rather than “doing”?
My guess the answer is not often – or not often enough.
I’d like to introduce you to Elements Luxury Tented Camp and Nature Spa, owned by a hard-working, dedicated and ambitious professional woman by the name of Nikki Laframboise. Her dream of creating an oasis for busy professionals to escape to is but a year old, and yet, what she and her team have accomplished is phenomenal. And all to help busy professionals like you and me take time out of our overstuffed schedules to relax, get away from the noise of the city, to escape to nature and all it has to offer.
My husband and I enjoyed spending a night at Elements on June 10th, the weekend before our 25th wedding anniversary. As part of my Which Would You Rather video series, I asked if the old-fashioned way of camping is something you would prefer over trying a new experience that Elements offers – your own private butler, delicious and nutritious food that is fully prepped for you. You simply have to cook it over the open fire. And the best part – no cleaning required either. They do it all for you. To sleep, you are in a fully furnished high-end glamping tent with a queen or king size bed, luxurious linens, with a modern outhouse attached to your tent for easy use and convenience. No need to venture into the great outdoors to take care of business.
The experience was one my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed, with a very special surprise by our ranger Tom – a piece of anniversary cake for us to enjoy on the lookout at sunset.
If you’re looking to get away from the city, to have quiet time to read, relax, hike, or simply enjoy being in nature and to enjoy what Elements has to offer, book yourself a get-away and enjoy a well-deserved retreat that will nourish your mind, body and soul.
