When Caregiving Becomes Abusive

Angela SutcliffeWhen Angela Sutcliffe was faced with her (now ex) husband having had a major stroke that doubled her workload from family breadwinner to family breadwinner AND caregiver, she immediately stepped into the caregiver role without hesitation.  And then, in an amazing twist of fate, in a matter of weeks she wound up with her disabled husband AND his ex-wife who was in the final stages of cancer under her roof, in her care and, needless to say on her way to burnout.  Little did she know that her husband would become abusive during the course of her caring for him.  Here to share her story of what she learned and what helped her to move forward is Angela Sutcliffe.
