The Cost of Clutter

Do you know what the clutter in your life is costing you? It is most definitely adding more stress, overwhelm and anxiety to your life and the only way to reduce it all is to simplify, let go and move forward.  This week’s video provides you with some tips to help do just that.

Where is your clutter?

Where do you feel pulled in every direction?

Where are your problem areas?

What is is causing you?

How do you feel?

Stressed? Overwhelmed? Frustrated?

  1. Simplify your life: Start letting go of one or two things in our life that you no longer need, use or want. Say yes to the right things and no to the wrong ones.
  2. Start where it’s easiest: Linen closets and sock drawers are great places to start because there is not a lot of emotional attachment there.
  3. Work in a small block of time: You don’t have to tackle it all at once. Set a timer for 10 minutes, 30 minutes, an hour or more.
  4. Remove all distractions: Turn off your phone and notifications. Stay focused on the task at hand.
  5. Play music! Play your favourite music and allow yourself to feel good about letting go.

You can do this! One step, one article, one piece at a time.
