How to Help Your Parents Continue to Live Safely in Their Home

In last week’s video, “How to Approach the Subject of Downsizing & Moving with Your Aging Parents“, I shared the first three things you can do to begin having an open and non-confrontational conversation with your parents about beginning the process of downsizing and moving.  This video sparked several questions including one I address briefly in this week’s video: “How to Help Your Parents Continue to Live Safely in Their Home”.  There are many things you can do and in the video I offer a few suggestions to help you get started.

I also recommend that you research outside resources that may be helpful including Senior Living consultants and “Age-In-Place” consultants.  You can find these professionals in your area by doing an online search or reaching out to me and/or my team at Moving Forward Matters.  While at Moving Forward Matters, be sure to download your free copy of “The Art of Downsizing: A Step by Step Guide to a Smooth Home Transition”.

Remember: We are here to help.  You do not have to do it alone.
