Judith Cane

I’m a wife, a mom, a daughter and a friend.  My family is the most important thing to me in the world.

I love music and gardening and quilting and being around water, but not necessarily in that order.

I try to live by the golden rule but social media sure makes that hard sometimes!

I am a money coach and my mission is to help everyone gain control over their money to create harmony in their lives.

Who inspires you in your life and why?

I am genuinely inspired by the people I surround myself with.  I’ve spent a long time building a trustworthy, smart and funny group of friends and they continue to amaze me with their passion and desire to live life to its fullest.  It’s important to me to have them in my life and I love being in theirs.

What have been some of the biggest challenges you have had to overcome in your life?

Like everyone else my age, I have an elderly mother who I care for although she lives independently.  My father died with Alzheimer’s so I’m always wondering if I am starting to show symptoms or if I’ve just forgotten a word or the reason I went downstairs.

We have one child, a 21 year old son, who is getting ready to start 2nd year university and for 6 0r 7 years he struggled desperately with drugs, depression and anxiety to the point of multiple suicide attempts.  Through medication, counselling and our continued love and support he has become a wonderful young man with a bright future ahead of him.

What did you do to move through them? What did you learn?

See above 🙂

What are you most proud of?

I am most proud of my amazing son and of celebrating over 27 years of marriage.

What do you want younger women to know?

We’re not your mothers, so it’s okay to take advice from us old broads!  Technology may have changed but we have lived life, made mistakes and have lots to share.  Just ask!

What does living fully mean to you?

I really believe I am living my life more fully than I ever have.  I have spent the last year getting rid of all the unnecessary “stuff” in my life and because of that I have more time, more space and more freedom to live life the way I want to.
